Overview

Double Dragon II: The Revenge is Technōs Japan’s 1989 NES beat ’em up. This entry applies a Chinese translation to the console game and does not claim a separate official Chinese release.

Billy and Jimmy Lee fight through side-scrolling missions using punches, kicks, jumps and combination attacks. The NES version expands beyond the arcade structure and should be treated as its own console adaptation.

Attack direction matters: the game’s two main attack buttons strike toward different sides of the character. Test the mapping early, because the useful button changes when an enemy crosses behind you.

How to Play

Check which browser keys map to the NES A and B buttons. Face a lone enemy and confirm which button attacks left and which attacks right before entering a crowded area.

Use vertical movement to line enemies up, then attack without allowing opponents to surround both sides. Throws, jumping attacks and stronger techniques are safer when you understand their timing.

Treat moving platforms and hazards as part of the challenge, not only the fights. Keep a save before difficult missions if the browser player provides save-state support.
