Grand Theft Auto 2

Your primary goal is to earn money and respect by completing jobs for various gangs, which will unlock new districts and more difficult missions. Moment-to-moment gameplay involves driving vehicles, running over pedestrians, evading the police, and engaging in shootouts.

A useful beginner strategy is to start by taking simple taxi or delivery missions to learn the city layout and earn initial cash without attracting too much police attention. As you progress, focus on balancing your reputation with the different gangs; working for one will anger its rivals, so it's wise to manage your alliances carefully.

In tense moments, such as high-speed police chases, prioritize finding a pay-and-spray garage to lose your wanted level and repair your vehicle. The core challenge rhythm involves a cycle of taking missions, causing chaos, and surviving the escalating law enforcement response.
