In Boogie Wings, you control a versatile aircraft that can switch between flying and ground-based driving. Your primary objective is to destroy enemy vehicles, soldiers, and bosses while scrolling through each stage.

The plane can shoot forward and drop bombs downward; when on the ground, it becomes a car with slightly different attack patterns. You can also pick up power-ups to enhance your weapons and gain temporary invincibility.
