In China Gate, you play as a skilled martial artist on a mission to rescue a kidnapped woman from a criminal organization. The game is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you move from left to right, fighting various enemies using punches, kicks, and special attacks.
Your primary objective is to defeat all enemies in each stage while avoiding their attacks. You can pick up weapons like nunchucks and throwing stars that appear throughout the levels to enhance your combat effectiveness.
Each stage ends with a boss battle against a powerful enemy that requires pattern recognition and precise timing to defeat. Early in the game, focus on learning enemy attack patterns and conserving health by avoiding unnecessary damage.
As you progress, master the timing of your attacks and use weapons strategically against tougher opponents. During tense moments, keep moving to avoid being surrounded and prioritize eliminating projectile-throwing enemies first.
If the keyboard does not respond, click the game screen first and check the actual key mappings in the player controls. Arrow keys scrolling the page can mean the game does not have input focus.
On a phone, check whether the player provides touch buttons. Try landscape or fullscreen if the controls are too small. After connecting a gamepad, press a button with the game focused and check whether the player recognizes it.
For a black screen or a stalled load, wait briefly before using Reload player or Browse games in the embedded player or play page. Reloading restarts the player and may lose unsaved progress. If no save option is available, do not rely on refreshing to preserve progress.
