Spawn

In Spawn for Game Boy, you control the titular character through side-scrolling levels, using his signature chains and supernatural abilities to defeat enemies. The core objective is to progress through each stage, battling various foes and overcoming platforming challenges to reach the end-of-level boss.

Spawn can attack with his chain weapon at close range and use limited special attacks. Early in the game, focus on learning enemy patterns and conserving health, as healing items are scarce.

The challenge rhythm involves navigating hazardous environments while managing combat encounters. During tense moments, especially boss fights, prioritize dodging attacks and striking during openings.

A useful beginner strategy is to methodically clear areas rather than rushing, and to master the timing of your chain attacks to maximize damage while avoiding retaliation.
