Street Fighter II - The World Warrior

Players engage in one-on-one martial arts combat across two-out-of-three rounds. Each character possesses a unique moveset consisting of light, medium, and heavy punches and kicks. Movement is handled via a directional input; holding away from the opponent allows the character to block incoming attacks. Success requires mastering specific motion inputs, such as quarter-circle forward for projectiles or holding a direction for a few seconds before pressing the opposite direction for charge moves.

During the early stages of a match, focus on zoning by using long-range attacks or projectiles to control space and keep opponents at bay. When the opponent jumps, counter with anti-air moves to maintain defense. As the match progresses, look for opportunities to execute throws by pressing forward and a heavy button when close, or link basic attacks into special moves for maximum damage. Managing the distance between characters and predicting the opponent's next move are the keys to victory.
