Overview

The Killing Blade is International Games System’s 1998 weapon-based fighting game for the PGM arcade platform. Choose a fighter, manage spacing and learn when to commit to stronger attacks.

Matches use one-on-one combat with character-specific normal moves, special techniques and weapons. Success depends on recognizing reach and recovery rather than pressing attacks continuously.

The browser player emulates the arcade release. Credit, start and action mappings belong to the wrapper, so check them before relying on instructions written for an original cabinet layout.

How to Play

Insert a virtual credit, start the game and choose a fighter. Test movement, basic attacks and the available buttons at a safe distance before attempting special-move inputs.

Control the space between the fighters. Use quick attacks to interrupt unsafe approaches and reserve slower moves for a confirmed opening.

Watch what happens after an attack is blocked or misses. Learning recovery time and reliable follow-ups is more useful than memorizing a long move list immediately.
