NFL Blitz 2001

The core objective in NFL Blitz 2001 is to outscore your opponent by moving the ball down the field for touchdowns. On offense, you select plays from a playbook and control the quarterback, who can hand off the ball, pass to receivers, or scramble.

Success relies on reading the defense, timing your throws, and using turbo boosts to break tackles. On defense, you control a linebacker or defensive back, aiming to sack the quarterback, intercept passes, or force fumbles with aggressive hits.

A key beginner strategy is to mix up your play calls and use turbo sparingly to avoid being caught out of position. The challenge rhythm is intense and fast, with games consisting of short quarters and a constant back-and-forth.

In the early game, focus on establishing a balanced attack. During tense moments, such as a final drive, prioritize clock management and safe plays to secure the win.
