Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is a Game Boy Advance dungeon RPG. Play as a Pokémon, form a rescue team and complete jobs in changing dungeons.

The story begins after the player wakes up as a Pokémon and meets a partner. Rescue requests arrive through the mailbox and notice board, sending the team into dungeons to find Pokémon, deliver items or reach specific floors.

Dungeon movement is turn-based: opponents act as the player moves or takes an action. Items, hunger, positioning and move usage all matter, especially during longer jobs where a careless step can expose the team to several enemies.

Check the browser player’s GBA controls before entering a dungeon. Prepare in Pokémon Square, select a rescue request and bring suitable items in the Toolbox.

Move one tile at a time and use corridors to avoid being surrounded. Regular attacks conserve move uses, while Pokémon moves provide stronger effects when needed.

Complete the job objective and leave safely. Store important items between trips, because failing a dungeon can cost carried money or supplies depending on the situation.
