Overview

Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a Nintendo DS puzzle adventure. Explore St. Mystere with Professor Layton and Luke while investigating the secret of the Golden Apple.

The investigation advances through conversations, environmental clues and more than 135 logic and lateral-thinking puzzles. Solving key puzzles opens new parts of the story, while optional puzzles can be found by examining the village and speaking with its residents.

The original game was designed around the Nintendo DS Touch Screen. In a browser player, pointer or touch behavior depends on the current emulator and device, so review the player controls before starting a puzzle.

How to Play

Check how the browser maps the Nintendo DS stylus and buttons. Use the pointer or touch input to inspect scenes, choose dialogue options and enter puzzle answers.

Read every condition before answering. When a puzzle includes a diagram, test what the wording actually requires instead of relying only on the illustration.

Use hints sparingly when you are stuck, then revisit missed puzzles as the story progresses. The discontinued Nintendo Wi-Fi puzzle service should not be expected in this browser version.
