Super Metroid

Your primary objective is to navigate the vast, interconnected world of Zebes, defeating hostile creatures and powerful bosses to progress. You control Samus Arsan, who starts with a basic Power Beam and can jump.

The core gameplay loop involves exploring rooms and corridors, defeating enemies for health and missile refills, and discovering new power-ups that grant abilities like the Morph Ball (to roll into small spaces), Missiles, and the iconic Grappling Beam. A key strategy is to shoot walls and floors to uncover hidden passages containing vital upgrades.

The map is your essential tool for tracking explored areas and objectives. The challenge escalates as you face larger enemies and intricate platforming sections, requiring precise timing and quick reflexes.

In tense moments, such as boss fights, focus on learning attack patterns, using your most powerful weapons, and managing your energy reserves. The game rewards thorough exploration and backtracking with new equipment that unlocks previously inaccessible areas.
